Anti Wrinkle involves the injection of a very small volume of fluid into various facial muscles using a very fine and very small needle. Whilst there is a small sting, it is very tolerable by the majority and treatment is quick, usually less than 5 minutes.
Results will vary between individuals, with most seeing the beginnings of their anti wrinkle kicking in at about 4 days, however, peak effect will be at 14 days. At The Fresh Studio, we encourage a 2 week review to assess the effects and discuss potential top ups that may be required and are very common.
Common risks include: minor redness, bruising and bleeding. As this is a medical procedure, comprehensive risks will be discussed in your consult and prior to treatment to gain consent. These risks will vary depending on which area/s are being treated.
At The Fresh Studio, the cost will always be discussed prior to treatment. Cost is per unit, and this will vary with each individual and which muscle/area is being treated. Total number of units is calculated after a comprehensive facial assessment to assess how active and strong your muscles are.
Downtime is minimal. Anti Wrinkle is injected quite superficially, causing a small puncture site which may lead to a small risk of minor bruising, redness and bleeding.

The level of pain can be dependent on the area being treated. Lips are often a more sensitive area, given it is more vascular. Alternatively, cheeks are reported to be a more tolerable area of treatment. All clients at The Fresh Studio will have a strong topical anaesthetic ointment applied prior to treatment, and other tools will be provided to help help make the experience more comfortable. These tools include a vibrating instrument, which works to distract the client/alter the pain pathway and a stress ball for the patient to hold.
This will be ultimately be guided by a thorough facial assessment and dependent on the area being treated, desired effect and treatment goals. Some treatments may require less volume over more sessions, whereby others may require a larger volume in a single session. Costs will always be discussed before going ahead with treatment.
No! The Fresh Studio takes pride in natural beauty and only providing treatments that give a subtle and natural enhancement to the clients foundations. We don't believe in over-enhancement and love working with our clients to develop a treatment plan that is realistic, conservative and fresh.
When compared with Anti Wrinkle, Dermal Fillers do carry increased risks, however, with safe practice, excellent knowledge of facial anatomy and safe technique, these risks are rare. Common risks associated with Dermal Fillers include: tenderness, swelling and bruising. After your consultation, risks will be discussed in detail and consent obtained before going ahead.
Unfortunately due to the Therapeutic Guidelines Administration (TGA) Guidelines, we are unable to advertise publicly the names/brands of product we use at The Fresh Studio. These products are all Schedule 4 and approved by the TGA and can be discussed with you during your consultation.

Skin Boosters are made up of Hyaluronic Acid (HA) and a combination of amino acids, vitamins, minerals and antioxidants all of which work together as bio-regenerators to rejuvenate and replenish the skin’s nutrients, leaving you glowing and radiant.
Amino Acids – Glycine, Lysine, Threonine, Proline, Isoleucine, Leucine, Valine, Arginine.
Antioxidants – Glutathione, N-Acetyl-L-Cysteine, Alpha Lipoic Acid
Minerals – Zinc & Copper
Vitamin – B6
Being compromised of mostly Hyaluronic Acid (HA), Skin Boosters technically are Dermal Filler. However, they are a lower concentration and not cross linked, meaning the consistency is like liquid and not a gel used to augment the skin
Skin Boosters are injected very superficially, just 1-1.5mm under the skin and can be used as a spot treatment or for a full-face therapy to improve cell regeneration and reduce oxidative stress.
